Mini Meet East 2010 -- July 1-3, 2010 Dayton, Ohio
Ohio Mini Owners will host Mini Meet East 2010 in the Dayton, Ohio area, July 1-3, 2010. We are engaged in planning the meet and have our mostly under construction website up and running (http://www.mme2010.com/mme10_ver2_001.htm).
All Minis are invited to join in as we have a concours, rallye, autocross, funkhana and all the usual events, wrapping up with a closing night Banquet.
Stay tuned for registration to be opened by the end of January. Feel free to pm me for other information.
We look forward to having a great time with all our MiNi friends.

Concours
We deliberately left it out.. it would most likely be a very small class, and a sharp JCW should have no trouble standing out amongst the group, I would think.

Will drive the classic, only about 100 miles away. Just need to decide if we bring one of the MINI's as well.

Website appears to be down?
Just heard about this. Is there still an autocross being put on? If so, I'd love to help out. I am the regional exec for the Cincinnati SCCA and run our very succesful autocross program down here. I would be happy to bring up whatever is needed. Just let me know!

Dave,
Thanks for sending the PM, I got you covered there. We appreciate the offer to help out, and we think we have it taken care of.
I used to run autocross with WOR awhile back.... Now I just do track days with BMWCCA.

Carl,
If you mean is someone showing up with a portable dyno and doing ecu tunes...then I don't know of anyone doing that. However, Way will be there and I know he does tunes -- you might want to contact him to see what he plans on having available....
see you here!

We will be doing our quicktunes there, but no dyno tunes. Doing that at an event is just a mess waiting to happen. Also we really attend this event for FUN. It is primarly a classic Mini event, so there won't be alot of New MINI's there, but our group is growing every year. I have a classic so I would go even without vending, but setting up the business never hurts.
