06 cooper s Asian tranny

Ok just got my kid an auto cooper s n I have a EP light on the dash n it’s shifting crazy. Changed the fluid filter n with synthetic fluid also added a fluid additive. Shifts a lot better (a lot) but the shifts are still bouncing around. EP light is still on. I’m in Long Island ny , got a bmw specialist to do a tranny adaptation or relearn it. Guy wants $250 . Does anyone know a good dedicated mini guy on longisland?? Please hook me up. Thnx

The relearn process is long and drawn out that's probably why he wants so much.
