Electrical...HALP!

I have a 2012 R56. Had it 3 weeks today. The cigarette lighter/ rear power outlet are not working. Having it that short amount of time, I don't know if they ever worked. F44 in the kick panel fuse block has no voltage on either side of the fuse. The rest of the fuses in that column have 12 V. F33 also has no voltage on either side of the fuse. According to my Bentley book: both fuses are feed by Terminal 15 relay IO 1069. It doesn't show what activates the coil for said relay. Also, where the heck is it? Under the hood in the Front Power Distribution Box, FL12 (30A DC/ DC converter fuse) is missing. Is this my problem? I'm not sure I've ever seen a square plastic fuse before. I cut my automotive teeth on glass fuses. My first car was a 1948 Ford. Thank you.

Here's the diagram for the cigarette lighter/rear charging socket. Seems like you just need to replace F44 and all should be good.

Also here's the diagram for F33 as well. Looks like its for the Automatic recirculated air control sensor and the DC/DC converter.

Thank you for the response and the diagrams. I have replaced F44 to no avail. I don't have any voltage on the "line" side of F44 or F33. In both diagrams, both fuses appear to be fed by IO 1069. What is that??? Do you have any idea what is a "DC/DC converter"? I thought the whole car was DC.

The IO1069 is a relay, from what IO1068 is showing when you hover over it in the diagram with the mouse pointer. From what this diagram is showing, the IO1069 is also connected to F34 which is for the mirror adjustment switch (its at the bottom of the page) https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/r...ule/1VnYNZIYZx. RealOEM says the DC/DC converter is for the Auto start/stop function for something, but doesn't say what for. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=61_2301

Thanks. I think I'm opening a can of worms with this. I need to ask myself: How badly do I need a cigarette lighter? And if IO1069 feeds the mirrors and my mirrors work; IO1069 must be okay.
