HALP!!!

I had a 12' audo pipe sub put in with a picasso 170watt amp today at a audio shop, it runs fine and I turned my car off to go into work and came back out and my trunk is shaking and the bass is going NUTS! and as soon as I pop my trunk it stopped, close the trunk it starts. any idea on what is wrong? I know its just wired from the trunk to the battery for the most part.

and it was installed by a shop by the way, I warned them and said they might have problems because the mini's wiring is weird and they shrugged it off/facepalm

Teka et buck ta tha audo shop. Not sure what they did wrong, but it could have to do with the what they tapped for amp on power signal. I had strange results when I tapped into a climate control fuse.

It might not be irrelevant.

I believe the safest thing is get the auto-on signal from the cig lighter circuit. The front and back sockets are on the same circuit, so either one would do. Don't use an Add-A-Circuit tap in the fuse box because the circuit is 20 amps and there is no tap available that can handle that much current.

Your amp's power cable should go directly to the battery.
