About a couple weeks ago the clubby started making a squeaking / creaking noise when turning lightly an a standstill or moving slow. It sounds like it’s in the rack itself. I checked the upper couplings and lubed them up and the upper strut mounts are like new still. When cold there is no noise but once warn the noise starts. It’s got 72k. No codes are set.

 

Ok found. And fixed. Turned out the be creaking from right side of the steering rack. The noise was inside the boot sounds like a bushing was dry. Fixed by putting a small pinhole in the boot at the top and spraying lithium grease in the boot and sealed back up with a dab of silicone sealer.
