Inside door handle bezel pops off!

I have the HK stereo so it the silver figure 8 shapes one. Won’t stay on and hasn’t for years. The passenger door one does it some. Is there a clever way to fix this? Been thinking about building up the male side pins on the bezel. Anyway, figured I can’t be the only one.
i did try to search the forum but either my iPhone or my sever is boogering up the search.

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues section. Innards of the tin tops are very similar to the droptops.

I just replaced one of mine. One of the mounting ears had broken off and it would not stay tight on the door. Dealer thinks they are made of gold ($80 ea). I found a like new one on ebay for $20.

Fits nice and tight now.

I have a similar issue on my passenger side door. The door handle seems to interfere with the HK bezel and it pops off. Seems as though the handle is either too far back (the back edge catches the bezel) or the bezel is wrong/aftermarket.
