My daughters 03 inside drivers door handle does't work. It unlocks but when you pull on the inside handle it won't open . She now rolls down the window and uses the outside handle. She lives a couple of hours away from me but her closest dealer is 5 hours away which means time off and hotel fees. If this user fixable all it would cost is gas to get her here on a weekend. I had an 04 and put 50k miles on it and did all the little stuff myself. Never pulled a door panel on it though .

You'll need some felt tape, if you pull the door panel off(4 screws) look to the right on the inside of the door, and you'll see a blue piece of plastic that runs from the door handle bowden cable, you'll want to put a piece of felt tape around it, about a half an inch in length, then pop it back into the door lock actuator.
