Possible valve cover failure?

Ok, I'm thinking the front of the valve cover gasket failed today wondering if you guys think the same thing. Today on the way home I decided to run the car pretty good on the back country roads. I may or may not have done 120+ on a nice flat stretch of road and when I got home I decided to pop the hood and look at the catch can I installed the other day and see if it was actually collecting oil vaper. When I popped the hood I noticed oil all over the heat shield for the turbo and on the front part of the valve cover. I looked up and saw oil on the hood also. My first thought was maybe the fittings for the catch can were not tight but as I felt them they are not even wet. I'm guessing it was just the gasket and the high speed fan blew the oil onto the hood? What do you guys think from the pics? I'm guessing with the high speed run that I may have done or not have done that could have been the reason that the gasket failed? It looks like it's just the gasket it's wet at the gasket. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing somthing.
