So I was replacing the belt tensioner on my R53 because the infamous damper went out, and as I was tightening the new one the lower 10mm bolt on the back portion of the tensioner sheared off. Part of bolt is still in the hole and I think it would be nearly impossible to remove, due to clearance on that side of the engine. Would I be craze to just leave it in place since the other 16mm and 10mm bolts are in place?
