Replaced AC compressor clutch and now its always engaged

03 MCS....So I was able to get my AC working by replacing the clutch and now I notice that the compressor stays on whether the AC button is in or not . It even stays on when I turn the fan off .
When I was diagnosing the problem I was messing with the 4 relays in the engine bay and Im wondering if I might have mixed the relays up and put the wrong ones in the wrong sockets .
Is that possibly why it stays engaged ?
Can someone tell me which relay goes in which location ?
Thanks

Did you buy the clutch kit off Ebay? Sometimes the tolerances on the less expensive parts is not the best and it sounds to be as if the clutch is bound when you tightened it down. The problem is you cannot loosen it enough to get the clutch to cycle but still stay on.

Thats what I was thinking and it sucks ... I live in so fla so its pretty much ac year round. I guess theres no problem having it engaged all the time although I may just change it again at some point . Do you know where I could get a better made clutch

I remember that I saw a small washer that went behind the front plate . Actually I think there were two but since there was only one on the original i only put 1 in . could something that thin create an issue

Not a good thing to have it engaged all the time. Some can break.
