Missing battery fuse module component

I have an '02 R53 MCS with the pesky airbag light + code "passenger air bag" and "0B battery positive terminal isolation 1". I bypassed the battery squib (it does not seem it was detonated already) with a resistor, yet the airbag light will not clear. After further inspection I noticed a male plug that was not attached to anything. After looking at pictures of other battery cabling I noticed my battery fuse module is missing the component the male plug goes to. I have attached two pictures with the item in question circled. Does anyone know what that part is and if it could be the reason the airbag code will not clear?

Hi did you ever grt this solved? I had a question the first photo, did you take that? I had the wires snap inside the connector that is circled and am trying to figure out their correct orientation.

I had a similar issue.
That male plug was lose and not making a solid connection. I plugged it in and cleared the code with a Schwaben OBD II scanner and now the airbag light isn't constantly on. The connector only goes in one direction.
