Smells burning
when i got home, something smells burning inside and i opened the hood, the coolant reservoir looked like this. there was no overheat at all.
is it leaking and does it smell like burning if it leaks?

That looks like too much pressure from too much heat. Has the water pump ever been replaced?

I’m not sure if water pump was replaced before. White thing on reservoir was just paper. Do you see the liquid in the middle??

Yes I see the liquid. When was the coolant flushed last as well.
