After valeo clutch conversion kit replaced

I left my mini at the shop yesterday and picked up today. I felt clutch pedal was so much lighter than stock one and easy to drive but the thing is everything was good except when I accelerate on first gear, it makes chatter noise from engine or transmission at 1000-2000 rpm and noise goes away then shift to second gear it starts makes same noise. third gear makes little bit of noise but not for 4th gear. I took it back to the shop and was told that since it's new clutch and flywheel, i have to baby it for a while like after replacing brakes. I am kinda frustrated because i've never heard or done this job before. is that true?

I just added video.

If it's chattering and making strange noises on acceleration when the clutch is fully engauged.....something is wrong. Mine chattered some when it was new when I would slip the clutch while downshifting.....but it was chattering because it was slipping. After around 500 miles it smoothed out and no more chatter.

If your foot is completely off the pedal, the clutch is fully engauged, you are accelerating, and you are getting chattering.....that's not right. Does it feel like the clutch is slipping?? The only way you get chatter is if the clutch is slipping. I would take it back to the shop and have them look at it again....or take it to a different shop for a second opinion.

There's a lot of options for culprits, unfortunately you'll need to have someone who knows what they're looking at do a diagnostic on it. It could be anything from; an axle not properly installed, improperly torqued hardware, etc.

Stupid question; is there fluid in the transmission? Does the car seem hard to get into or out of gear?

A Valeo shouldn't make much if any noise after install, I've installed tons of them and the worst I've gotten out of one is a small amount of chatter at idle with the clutch engaged.

Personally I would take it back to the shop and have them fix the fault or prove that it in fact is just "how the clutch operates when new." They put their name on the work when they took the job, and that's not supposed to be a trait of a new clutch.

Thank you so much for response!
Stupid question; is there fluid in the transmission? Does the car seem hard to get into or out of gear? I think Shifting gear is okay but sometimes after driving few miles in local and freeway, i feel gear little bit stiff. The clutch pedal feels also really weird and there is squeaky noise noise from transmission while engaging and after.
Here is the video below. The noise after horn.

The transmission holds about 1.8 quarts of fluid, and it specs 75w90 fluid.

I would still stand by taking it back and requesting that they make right on the issue.

okay. today I took it back to the shop and they didn't even jack up the car and only test drove my car and pressed clutch pedal several times and said it's because throwout bearing is defective or something. the thing is I brought all the parts in the shop and he kept blaming on the parts.. so I took my mini to different shop (specialist) and let them inspect and testdrove my car. They said it could happen if transmission fluid is low so they drain out the fluid and guess what the shop replaced clutch and flywheel only put 1.3-1.4 qtz on my transmission and fluid wasn't looking good. they told me maybe they forgot to put more fluid or something so anyway, the new shop put fresh transmission oil back to my transmission but it's still same.. I don't know what to do now.. I guess i just have to drive until clutch worn out?
