I cant see because of the hood liner. Is there an easy way to see if I have heated nozzles? I want to get new nozzles (mine a bit sun faded), but not sure which I need. Dont want to pull the liner if not necessary. Would the cold weather package have them in it?

 

If you have them you most likely have heated seat and mirrors.

You don't; they would just heat up automatically. Do you have heated seats?

The nozzles can easily be brought back to their original black luster by using one of many specific products that treat black plastic components on automobiles. "Mothers - Back-to-Black Trim and Plastic Restorer" is the one I use, but there are others.

 

I do have heated seats. They're awesome.

My car had some paint overspray so I am systematically replacing the parts I cant clean the pain off of. This is one of those parts! I should try that back to black stuff on the rear fenders.. I replaced the fronts to new.

 

If you go to THIS site and put in your VIN, it should tell you if your particular vehicle has the cold weather package installed.

I love how I have cop control. WTF is that?! I havent had any tickets yet, so maybe its working.

" cop control " = coil on plug

 

Coil on plug makes me think of separate coil packs like on a 2nd gen and later, not the single coil with 4 plug wires on a 1st gen.

 

Ok so just to confirm, mine are not heated?

 

Only you can confirm with certainty by pulling one of them to see if there's a wire attached, but in checking the term "mini r53 cold weather package" in Google, and reading through the results, the general consensus is that the CWP does include the washer jets and heated mirrors.
