Looking to identify a hose

Hi all,

Can anyone help me identify this hose? The plastic fitting has cracked and I have a vacuum sucking sound from it. I can't find it in RealOEM. It's somehow related to the crankcase vacuum system, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it.

Any help welcome!

Actually even more specifically, I need one of the plastic T fittings replaced - so even more than the hose, need the plastic piece ...

Is this a hose feeding a cold-weather intake manifold --- one connection at each cylinder?

Hmm. I'm not sure whether it connects to each cylinder or not. That said, it does seem like there are quite a few of those T shape plastic things, so it might ... but what I need the most is the plastic thing apparently, as the hose itself is undamaged.

Take a look at this thread --- https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post4175817 if this is your manifold, contact the vendor --- he might have the parts you need.

You mentioned RealOEM --- did you use your VIN, or the search options to browse parts? I'd expect the VIN option to have your OEM items shown. Maybe a previous owner changed manifolds?

Interesting question - previous owner had the car for about 8 months and I've owned it ever since, but I wonder if the dealer swapped manifolds at like the 10K km service and didn't even tell the owner? (as the only "unscheduled" maintenance I was aware of was a HPFP replacement at 10K). Alternatively, I suppose it's fathomable my own dealer switched manifolds during say the chain tensioner recall, but unless there was a specific instruction to go to cold climate manifolds, I would almost say the car must've come this way. But indeed, I checked by VIN with RealOEM and got nothing. Odd.

Similar brass and plastic T's are available at most hardware and auto parts stores. Take your old one with you to Ace and Advance Auto Parts ; they may have a suitable replacement.https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...=tee+connector
