Not that hot out
Not that hot out
I had an A/C hose rub against the oil pan and develop a leak in the A/C hose. I had them replace the hose and make sure it did not rub in the future. Ever since they replaced the hose the outside air temperature shows higher than it really is. I am guessing they moved the outside air temperature sender/sensor to close to the exhaust pipe or manifold. Anyone have an idea where that sender/sensor would be? 2007 drop top, automatic
Thanks

Should be in your front bumper on the lower grille. Check its location, the connection and terminals to make sure it's not faulty.

Since it just clips in, it is very easy to forget t snap it into the right spot when potting the car back together after "service mode".
I'm guessing it is touching something....
When they go bad, they typically show -50 if I recall right...and that is pretty darn cold !!
