I have a lower engine mount on a 03 R53 that has the cloth/fiber tye and a plastic the wrap around the center of the rubber mount and and the rear portion of the fiber the wrap has moved up to the top of the mount, to put it back will require force which will probably break the wrap----the rubber mount itself looks good----should the mount be replaced?

 

Are you speaking of the timing side engine mount?

That strap is mostly there to keep everything together in the event of failure, you can replace the mount if you want, or keep a close eye on it over time and replace the mount when it fails.
