Lower rear only?

Personally I'm not a fan of the small rake on my 11 r56 (non-s) and was wondering how to lower the rear and level it out?

I'd like to either drop the rear .5-.75 inches and leave front alon .

Or

Drop the front .5 to 1.0 inches and the rear 1 to 1.5 inches.

I'm hoping to avoid the cost of coilovers since I'm only lowering it a bit but all the lowering springs seem to have the same drop on all 4 corners.

Any advice is appreciated

Likely the cost of entry no matter the amount of drop you're looking for would the same. Not sure there's any cheap magic here over buying lower springs or coil overs for the rears.

Easy magic!
Get lower profile rear tires...
Or even find the same wheel in a 15" (may have clearance issues with the rotor) and then the tires will have the same profile.

Put a few sand bags or gym weights over the rear wheels to load the springs down...

The rake is an optical illusion. The factory ride height is already lower in the rear by about a half inch. The pinch weld is maybe a little bit higher in the rear, but the fender height is lower in the rear. Also, the belt line molding rakes up slightly in the rear.

That being said, you could get a set of JCW sport springs for the rear, and leave the OEM springs in the front. That will lower the rear maybe another half inch.
