P1477 and mystery vacuum line.

Ses light came on today. I changed all motor mounts yesterday which required removing the bracket that holds this line. I think jacking the engine up pulled it out of something.

Its this skinny vacuum line with the rubber tip.

Inside of the engine mount bracket.

Goes to this t connector by the fuel rail.

Goes down to the right side of the intake manifold.

Anyone recognize this hose? Seems like everything is against me going in a mini fun run saturday :(

#11 is the vacuum line in question. Hooks up to #7 pressure regulator. Bottom right loops like it goes into the intake manifold. I need to know where the top left goes.

There should be another vacuum line that is in the vicinity of the engine support bracket on that side, whether you have it tucked under or out of the way. It is a solid plastic vacuum line that runs along with the fuel line and other tank vent valve line.

Found and fixed a bit ago. Couldn't see well at night, but it was obvious in the daytime. The one hose broke off into the other just like my brake booster did. Temporary repaired it with heavy duty heat shrink tubing. Caution for people changing the motor mount on the frame I guess. I think this happened when jacking the engine up high.

Glad you figured it out. I was sure it was tight there, but couldn't explain where to look.

Where does this go?

I see that there is something plastic broken off inside the rubber end but can't seem to find where it connects. Any help would be very much appreciated. The line is directly under the thick fuel line in the picture.

Look very carefully under the intercooler inlet horn (a sort of like the inside bend of that horn). That is the big cast aluminum thing in your photo. You will likely need a flash light as the space in there is extremely confined.
