Coolant in Intercooler

I have a 2007 MCS R56 and am currently in the middle of repairing the damage from a failed timing chain tensioner, including removing cylinder head, replacing 8 bent exhaust valves, valve job, etc.

While waiting for the head to come back from the machine shop, I was inspecting the intercooler and saw some liquid in it. I removed it and found coolant.

Has anyone ever seen this? I assume it's coming from the coolant running through the turbo. Possibly a seal in the turbo? Does anyone know if there is a source for a seal kit for the turbo?

Did you spill some down the pipe from the turbo when the boot was off and changing the coolant line ?

Are you sure it isn't condesation? There is no real way for coolant to get into the charge system, the coolant jacket in the turbo doesn't pass through the compressor housing, just the center cartridge.

Intercooler full of coolant

Ive been battling a suspected Headgasket failure on my 2011 MCS for over a month, Having one hell of a time troubleshooting the issue, started while cruzing the highway, heard a pop clunk and saw a puff of white smoke so pulled over immediately. Oil was filled with coolant. Cars been parked ever since. Today I've been trying to put it into service mode, no such luck..
took the intercooler hoses off and COOLANT poured out, stuck my fingers in the intercooler and splashed coolant around. What is this madness!???
