Hi guys, my car thinks its hotter then the actual temperature. Im looking to replace the sensor, where is it located exactly?

I believe it's attached to the lower grill on the front bumper. You can easily see the sensor if you shine a light on it through the grill on the drivers side. It is pretty simple to remove the bumper to replace the sensor. DIY on bumper removal here. If needed, 65-81-6-936-953, enter promo code COOPER at check out to save 10%.

My Mini is like that as well, my mother's car also. I find it more accurate in the colder months because the assault that the car sits on or drives on can be 140F, that's going to exaggerate the temperature readings especially in the hotter Summer months. I wouldn't pay much attention to your Mini's temperature gauge.

You can access it by the passenger side wheel well. Undo a few plastic Phillips head screws, fold back the liner and you'll see it.

OK...so which is it...behind the bumper on the driver side? Or behind the bumper and accessible thru the right front wheel well?
