Ticking/knocking sounds Help

Hello everyone. I've recently just purchased a 2005 mcs and have been hearing a knocking/ticking sounds coming from the engine. The car has 122k and I have recently changed the belt, belt tensioner, spark plugs, wires, and supercharger (from a previous mini that I've owned)

When putting on the belt tensioner I've noticed it was very close to the crank pulley. The hole in the belt tensioner is not visible anymore and it's a new belt. I'm just stuck and would love do guidance thank you.
Btw the car has a 16 percent pulley and also replaced the timing chain tensioner, but did not help.
Could a bad crank damper cause the belt tensioner to lose tension? Or could it be the timing chain guide rails?
Thank you in advance

I think you're onto something with the guide rails. I would pop the valve cover off and see if they have de-laminated, or better yet, get a good, independent MINI shop to listen to the clatter.
