Replace the intank fuel pump

Recently I have replace my second in tank fuel pump. After replacing the fuel pump I noticed that the fuel gauge is not accurate after I pump full a full tank the fuel gauge doesn't show full it always show 9/10(lights). Sometime after driving awhile or down slope the fuel gauge light will show in full. Is there any setting need to be done?

The in tank fuel lines run very close to the fuel sender arm maybe one of the fuel lines got in the way.

+1 Yea, you might have bent the senor arm by accident or the full line is blocking it from moving.

I agree about the sensor arm. Just replaced the filter and pump. Feel like I crimped something when I changed the filter. Would be great
to have a better idea of how the hoses and lines work between the filter and pump. As of yet, have not found a diagram/cutaway.
Cheers to all, RKL
