Whooshing sound when warm

This is one of the oddest sounds I have heard my mini make

I had a water leak at my thermostat housing and replaced the thermostat and gasket so we are all good there.

As of now no more water leak.

But when the car is warmed I hear this whooshing water sound

Air conditioning blows nice and cold

No problems in terms of power development

Any ideas?

I bet you are hearing an air bubble in the heater core. They probably didnt bleed the coolant system enough when the thermo was changed.

Sounds like you might have air trapped in the system. did you bled the system using the bleeder screw? If not, do it. If you did, probably need to do it again.

Yea, sounds like water / air pockets going through the heater core when the heats turned on you can hear it more. And of course when you give it throttle. Just needs to be bled more. +1 on trapped air.

Dammit ok. I thought I bled enough of it since I did my own work.

I turned my heater on and I was roasting

I wish there was a more perfect science.

Thanks guys!!!
