Rough cold start

Not sure how many folks live in a colder climate where it snows but my r53 has been having some issues starting when it's cold. Anyone else have a similar issue. It cranks, seems like it wants to start and dies. I cycle the ignition on a couple times and prime the fuel pump and seems to start up fine. Anyone have any idea? Also really weird when the issue happens my clock reverts back to --:--

Sounds like a battery issue if your clock is resetting. I live in buffalo NY, car starts good even in the cold. I would test the battery and go from there.

If the clock is going to --:--
I would bet it is the battery...Bet partial start is just leaving fuel in the cylinders...and you are getting it to start cause the fuel is acting like a "primer"....
I'd test the battery and check the grounds...but if the voltage is going so low during the crank the clock dies, I'd bet the battery is toast!
