Lost the red reflector for the the 3rd brake light (long light above the hatch) while taking the car through a car wash (learned my lesson there).

while the light assembly is still intact and works, does anyone know where I can buy JUST the red reflector? the whole assembly sells online for $130, but I just need the red reflector piece, but can't find it.

I had the same exact thing happen to me a while back. I was thinking the same thing, but after some searching found that you can't get just the reflector, and you need to replace the whole lamp. I went and got one from the dealer since I was getting a few other things while I was there (And I had a discount card), but I happened to see a Dorman one on Amazon for about 58$. Check with the other vendors (ECS, Way, Outmotoring) and see what their prices are like for an OEM replacement.

 

Sorry you can't get just the red part. You need to replace it quickly as with the red lens missing you will leak water in the hatch. We keep the stock ones in stock less than $130

I was fortunate enough to find the Dorman replacement on Amazon for roughly $57.

Are these difficult to install? I think I read somewhere on the forums there are 3-4 screws accessed somewhere from inside the car? My car is a 2006 R50, without a spoiler.
