horn's gone south....again!

Zane Grey's going back in for service next monday, coming up on 35k and one of the issues is a problem with 2 of the 3 tones on the horn going away......this is the second time.Anyone else experience this problem? I really love the fact of the MINI coming with a fairly agressive horn, not that I'm a perrenial tooter, but there are times when it really comes in handy. With only one tone left, I feel like one of my nads has been cut off .

Be gone with the bugger. A friend just put this trick chrome dual trumpet air horn on his Harley. It has a mini compressor hidden under the stock horn cover. It's blasted with a 12V motor that spins up the compressor instantly touching the horn button. Man that thing blasts, he set it off outside and it gets your attention right now. Sounds euro cool the trumpet notes blend to a nice sharp tone.

Drivers are always cutting him off and being stupid. He can't wait to unleash this bad dog.

No problems with one of these and a 100 watt police air-horn/PA under my bonnet If they don't understand English...try some choice French words

My horns sounded pathetically weak and small ever since I got Minisql, but I thought that was just the way they came, until one day I noticed that the sound was only coming from one side of the car. So my next service I'll have it replaced. I measured the resistance of the coil on the 2 horns and the dead one was open. Dont know what caused it.
