rear subframe problems

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Mini's rear susp is a multilink setup similar ti a 3-Series? If so, I'm wondering if heavily-used and/or tracked Minis will have the same rear subframe tearing issues as the E36 (and, so I'm told, E46) 3-Series cars. I guess one good way to tell is if somebody in the aftermkt is offering reinforcement kits for the sheetmetal where the subframe is attached--anyone know?

Thanks.

The rear subframe problems the E36 and previous Bimmer chassis had problems with is mainly due to two factors: very high mileage (over 100K), and sub-optimal design. The MINI's subframe design is actually quite good; I would be amazed if there were ever any problems with it at any mileage (ok, let's be reasonable with that "any" qualifier ).
