I'm pretty sure it's the littlest problem ever, but my transmission linkage makes quite a bit of noise. You can't hear it from inside of the car unless it's off, but outside you can hear a very audible clank when the shifter is used. It comes from below the shifter under the car, not up near the engine bay.

I just don't know if this is common, a problem (first manual), or what.
