Hi all. I was replacing a backup bulb on my 05 R53, there is a white plastic guide/surround around the bulb. Mine came loose and was floating around the housing, while trying to get it out it has become wedged in the upper part of the housing. Has this happened to anyone else and any suggestions on getting it out?

It will be easy to access everything if you pop out the taillight. The taillight is fastened by just one nut/bolt. Remove the nut and you will be able to pop out the taillight.

 

Thanks RKW I removed the assembly to replace the bulb. The piece in question the guide that the B/U bulb goes through. I will post a photo later today
