Seafoam doesn't really do much in the way of carbon cleaning. If you're have carbon buildup, the only way to solve it is with walnut shell blasting. Looking at the engine from the front of the car, there is a braided hose that connects to the top left of the engine, going off of the plastic valve cover. I think you squeeze and twist the connector to get it off. Don't bother with seafoam in the tank, it doesn't touch the valves
Its a different engine set up and shouldn't have that much of a build up on it. Some one on here did open up the same year and found minimal build up. I can't remember how many miles were driven on it tho.
