Stalling out after long drive??

Hello,
I have an 07 non-S hatchback. Works great around town, no problems at all with anything. I live 100km from a city. When I drive to the city the car works 100% on the highway but when I turn off the highway the car will stall out before then end of the offramp. It will then stall everytime the revs drop until I get to where I'm going. After letting it sit for a while it improves. I drive the 100km home without problems at highway speed or more, turn off the highway and stalling before the end of the offramp. Again stalls evertime the rpm's drop. I can use the car around town without any problems??
I don't think it's a spark plug problem because it works great under load same train of thought for the fuel system (filter / pump).
Anyone have a similar issue?
Definitely not the "cold start problem" actually opposite to that.

cheers
