Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and hoping to get insight on this issue I've been having with my 08 mini cooper s. Car seems to run like normal with the spool of the turbo spinning. As I floor the gas and as it reaches 4-6k RPM my center screen displays going into limp mode. When I hold down the diag button screen shows up CCID -029?? Forums state that it could be a fuel pressure pump, but I think its not. Ive seen youtube video on how a mini sounds when the HPFP starts to fail and my mini cooper show no symptoms. The crazy part of it all is when I shut down my cooper for the day and turn it on and drive mildly the limp mode turns off. Ive checked the vaccum lines and they seem to be fine and all that's left could be the Diverter valve. Any suggestions??
