HELP! Broken Coolant Plastic Pipe

So my thermostat housing went out. Started replacing it tonight, and forgot there was a clip (#3) holding the back section to the pipe below:

Ended up breaking the opposite end of the pipe that connects to the water pump.

Anybody have any instructions on replacing that pipe or getting access to the water pump end? (pieces and o-ring are still inside)
I don't have a Haynes manual, nor will be able to get one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

BTW it's an '07 R56 S

I am in the same predicament. How did you go about dealing with this problem? Did you have to remove the water pump to get to the broken piece or did you remove the intake manifold to get to it?

To remove it you will have to remove the thermostat housing and then you can reach it from under the intake manifold. You will be able to then see the connection to the back side of the water pump housing.

Water pipe connects to back tube on the thermostat housing. Lower tube in pic which reaching around the back.

See this thread for the removal of the thermostat housing. Then you can get to the water pipe.
