Coolant expansion tank boiling over while bleeding

In the process of bleeding the system with the coolant expansion tank cap off and bleeder screw open the expansion tank started gargling and spewing coolant/water 50/50 all over the place.

This is a result of a nearly complete drain and refill while switching out the fan. I flushed the system using the shopvac method, so I would expect a ton of air and much bleeding needed.

Is this spewing normal? There were no cooling issues prior to today, just the fan not having a low speed.

Do a search for the other elusive bleed screw way down near the center of the engine compartment just below the intake air box. Takes a long extension with, I believe, a 6 or 8mm socket.
