Random Dying

My wife pulls into the parking garage and our 06 MCS dies. She starts it up and everything is fine.
Anyone have any idea what might have caused this?
Car is running fine. Coil is new as are spark plugs and wires.

There’s a saying that if it only happened once, it didn’t happen.

Is it possible she hit the key with her knee and it inadvertently shut the car down?

My wife is capable of doing many things but I'm nearly positive she didn't hit the key inadvertently. LOL!

Guess it might have been a random occurrence.....we did have a blue moon last month...kinda fits the whole not normal mini advertising campaign...... Or maybe..
Call it stray electrons or cosmic particles from a sunspot..maybe a slug of water from condensation....
Maybe even you wife trying to get you worried about the car....kinda planting the seed to get something newer in a few months....kinda like mind control!!
Just wait and see what happens!!

Car has auto trans.
Car hasn't stalled since.
A previous poster mentioned that she might have hit the key which I'm thinking may be a good possibility given that she's making some tight turns in the garage.

Just and update on this thread.
The stalling has happened two more times since the first time.
No indication when it's going to happen.
Car just dies for some reason and starts up fine.
I was wondering if it might be the ignition switch?
Or a relay?
Any ideas/advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

That and just reach around....
Make sure plugs are tight...check everything you can reach....ecu plugs, etc....
Battery is snug, and ground wire is tight....both on the battery and the main ground by the engine mount.

Thanks!
I forgot about the camshaft sensor.
I've seen this happen on Mercedes and BMW but then again none of those cars come close to the cost of maintenance I've experienced on this MINI!!! :(
I'll also double check all the connections.
Thanks again!
