Yellow NAMers,

So, I been noticing this for a while, but just pushed it away and now I decided to post something about it. So, I been noticing that hot air comes out of my vents when I WOT on the freeway for awhile to race someone or beat a car when merging. I also notice it when im going about 90 mph on the freeway. It has some smell also. Dont know what the smell is, but it is not coolant, but I guess it smells like gas a little. Does anyone experience this or might know the problem?

 

Stop racing on public roads and the problem will go away.

 

I would say as with most cars the AC compressor cuts off when at or near WOT. Also, the smell is your noxious fumes that the cat either didn't catch or tried to convert to cleaner air from the car's pollutants.

+ to not racing or driving like a *****. Or do it, but don't talk about it on the boards (against the rules).
