Vacuum Pump

I have a slight leak from my Vacuum pump area. I feel it is the O ring. Anyway, when I take the 2 bolts off the pump, remove the pump - is there anything I need to be careful about - oil hole, cam position, etc?

If anyone has a DIY write up for the vacuum pump that would be great!

NOTE: I did post this in the DIY request area of the how to forum, waited a few days (since Friday or Thursday last week) and there are no responses. So I decided to post here.

Thanks

I don't have a DIY but the vacuum pump does not affect timing. It's just driven off the exhaust camshaft and that's it. Should be a very straight forward replacement.

Thanks. Just pull it off, and put it back on? No need to worry about cam position?

No, because the camshaft is held with the timing chain on the US-spec passenger (right-hand) side of the vehicle.
