The power steering whine has gotten much louder in the past couple of days.It is also whining when I am not turning the wheels,when shutting off the engine I can hear it wind down.I checked the fluid it is fine.The car has 29,000 miles on it.Any ideas?

 

The steering pump/motor was replaced no more noise

 

Good man....straight to them dealers with ANY kind of noise.....it is as bad to ignore noises as it is to ignore toothaches.....it just turns out more painful and more costly, every time.....
