Rust on wheel hubs

My two month old cooper has rust that is pretty bad on the front hubs and is pretty noticeable when looking at the car. My SA said that all Minis have this problem. Can anyone share any opinions on this??

ALL cars get rust on wheel hubs. Moisture builds up there and then rust forms.

That is the brake rotor and common. Next set of rotors look for geomet coating or similar to prevent that.

O, I'm not talking about the rust on the inside of rotor. But I guess you mean the other part gets swapped with the rotors? I never saw that on any other car I've had before.

You could probably paint the rust black and improve the appearance. Might have to reprint every year.

That rust is completely normal. It happens on all uncoated rotors.

Just need rotors with coatings like these:

or these:

With coatings on the hubs or e-coatings on the entire surface, then this problem goes away. These ones are for S models, but I'd assume they have them for non-S models somewhere too.
