A\C issue
Wondering if anyone has had (or seen) this issue...

My 07 MCSa with auto climate control is having a strange issue. It IS blowing cold air but it will blow out of random vents (Upper, Dash, floor) it seems to like the floor vents the best. While my feet stay nice and cool the rest of me would like some air as well. Even if you manually select the dash vents it won’t always go to them.

Everything I have seen has been for blowing hot and cold air at the same time. I haven't seen anything where it just cools on the vents it wants to.

It maybe a vacuum leak; manycars use vacuum to control the doors/flaps in the HVAC system, although I'm not certain that this is the case with MINIs.

+1 on that and also check the vent selector ****. My friends car had the **** stripped and it just spun on the post.

it's got the auto HVAC so I don't think it has a selector ****. but thanks guys
