chances of good will repair
Yeah I will be piling on miles quickly...Sometimes I got a 70miles drive to work one way..not every day but there will be weeks where I go to Philly every day....It is certified by this dealer, I think I would like to take it to a Mini dealer first though...just in case.
Nope. Car was completely stock when I bought it. Here's what I've done.
* Megan Racing Coilovers
* Enkei WMD 16" wheels
* Yokohoma s-drive summer tires
* Oil catch can and boost tap
* NM CAI
* H-sport 19mm rear sway bar
* MiniMania alloy front strut brace
* NM torque arm mount inserts
* H-sport rear camber links
* Black jack mirror cover, side skuttles, door handle covers
* NM turbo heat shield
* NM turbo line heat shield
I think that's it.
Love it.
Really handles like a modified go cart now.

In all seriousness, a little suspension modification and you'll know what I mean. Alot of folks go for more power but a Mini will never be a fast car off the line. But, take it through twisties, curves, and all and it's tops.
If yours doesn't have an oil catch can and boost tap installed already, that is the one thing I'd go for. It's not suspension but it'll help keep your intake cleaner and reduce the amount of carbon buildup.

Yep, already have that planned out. Install looks very easy as well, does it really matter what style catch can you get? I am assuming the difference between a 150 billet one vs a ebay special is the build quality.
I'm only familiar with the BSH which I know has baffles in it which is a good thing. Also, it has a lower drain plug and if you want to siphon it out it has a top hole with a little dip stick. The dip stick is nice for checking the level in it.
Kinda costly but well worth it.

Did your car come with those rims?
