How much damage did I do?

Hi all

Not my proudest moment, I drove over one of those parking lot trapezoid things the other day. One wheel went over, the other wheel missed it.
The car landed on the frame, tire touching the ground, but definitely not fully on the tire.
AAA came and offered to pull me all the way forward to get me out. I pointed out that i might as well leave the car there and go buy a new one if that was all he could do. After that, he pulled me backwards, at an angle (there was a building preventing him from getting directly behind me).

The extraction was a bit unsettling and noisy. I had to put it in reverse and try to drive backwards to get out -- poor clutch and tires!

Could you take a look at these pictures and let me know if you see anything of significant concern? It all looks pretty okay to me -- What would be the best way to coat the parts that got their coating scratched off to prevent rust?

Also, can anyone identify the fluid drip on the red arrow? I'm guessing power steering?

thanks!

My guess is that there isn't too much damage. It really doesn't look that bad.

I feel your pain man! I would take it to a dealer and have them check it out. I don't know if rust will be a serious issue or not. Good luck - can happen to anyone!

That seems a bit excessive... I've not had good experiences with my dealer or the other dealer in my area.

If you're losing fluid, I personally would sleep better having it checked out.

Overall, the photos don't tell me a lot—but maybe others can offer better advice. Good luck.

I know that my oil pan gasket and power steering hose are leaking, and I'm pretty sure that's what those drips are. Just wanted to make sure.

It's pretty clear that my recent "incident" didn't damage any hoses/etc.

Just clean it up, spray some cold zinc galvanizing primer on it and touch it up with rustoleum.
