MINI replaced my '08 Justa sway bar bushings at around 25,000km (I think). They've been fine ever since - now @ 68,000.

Worn plastic "chrome" ring on the key is a really common thing. You'll notice that the new replacement is actually real metal - imagine that!

The other thing that goes is the front control arm bushings. They start to rattle when you hit bumps. So much quieter after they are replaced. Went with the poly bushing, myself. No increase in HNV, just much quieter. Also improved the handling, especially the "turn-in" and bump steer under braking.
