headlight adjustment
I've searched and found that the white plastic screw behind the housing is to adjust the light. After hitting a pothole that broke the inside of my light my dealer replaced the whole housing and adjusted the headlight but it is much lower than the other side...
Now after turning that white screw both ways nothing happens at all. Is there some trick that I'm missing..I've used both a screw driver and an allen key and nothing happens. the screw turns but the light doesn't move..Is there something else i can do to raise the light?

I've adjusted mine as you describe because my dealer's beam-setter put them so high as to be dangerous TMM. But only a fraction of a turn was very noticeable when I did it so summat's wrong.
I hope your dealer isn't too far away!

This may sound stupid, but make sure your lights are on when you're doing this. If you have the xenons they are going to auto level as soon as you turn the car on ....you need to level them with them already on and the auto leveling complete. It should be a noticeable with just one full rotation around. It sounds like yours isn't catching or is broken.
My headlight was pointing at the ground the other evening. About two weeks ago I hit a pothole, blew two tires and broke a wheel. From reading you post, I guess that is what broke my headlight adjuster. I took out the light assembly and noticed that the post that attaches to the adjuster was broken. I was able to reach in and found that it was a clean break. Broke out the trusty JB Weld and had a go at it. It has only been a day so far, but I am able to adjust the light and it seems to be holding quite well.

Here is a link to a previous post that shows the adjusting screw.

Just take into consideration, that my headlight issue was more than turning the adjusting screw, and I have the halogen headlights, not the self leveling.
