Lost all radio functionality

2011 MC. Stock radio with Sirius/HD/Aux. Hopped in to go to work this morning and my radio display was completely blank. Hit the Left control **** and the only thing displayed was the time and the date. All other controls didn't do anything. It's almost as if the any audio functionality is disabled. Before I make a run to the dealership, anybody run into this?

I've had this problem more than several times. Doesn't work at random times, I found that mine has something to do with the blue tooth connection. The blue tooth has to be turned off, then car turned off for several minutes and the radio works when re-starting the car. I haven't called the dealer or taken it in, probably should do that. I'm curious as to what you find out......

I will let you know what I do find out. I don't have the BT option, however.

So, a little turn for the worse this morning. I have an appointment at my dealership on Monday to look at the Radio issue, however, this morning it seems as though my battery is dead. I don't know for certain because I can't get into the car with either keyless or with the key! So, it may be just me, but I think that's a major flaw in design that I can't even get into the car with the key! Contacted Mini Roadside and they have someone on the way. Hopefully they are able to figure something out to get my car out of my underground parking garage with an inaccessible car.

Most likely you have a bad radio module/head unit. There have been a few people posting similar stories with dealer replacing the radio.

As a matter of fact, the dealer called me and let me know what was going on. Strobeyprobey was right on. My radio headunit is faulty. It was drawing power even when the car was turned off. So one had to do with the other. They are getting a new unit on Monday and putting it in. I'm hoping that the new radio and Sirius ID will be transported into my free subscription yet. I'll have to talk to them when I pick up Cecil about that.

The Sirius module is totally separate from the head unit and will remain unchanged, thus the Sirius ID will will be the same.
