MCS Problem!!!
I was driving and took a very hard turn and a message popped up on my NAV screen stating that the oil pressure is low and i need to stop driving my car immediately. but today i drove my car and no message. is something wrong???
Have you thought to check your oil level? Oil pressure warning lights during hard cornering are often the first sign of low oil level - SERIOUSLY low oil level.

Hey if I do not check my wifes oil in her MINI or for that matter any previous car I would have a lot of blown engines......Not trying to be the man that is just the way my wife is, gotta love her....Yah check ur oil...
At every other fillup. I notice no noticeable consumption between oil changes, but I check every two to three fillups. If you are paying at the pump, what else do you have to do while the tank is filling. I also check coolant, washer fluid, and PS fluid, as well as a quick cursory inspection of the area. Takes less than two minutes to check everything (car needs to run to check PS fluid).Check tire pressures at about the same interval, but do that at home, first thing in the AM.

Not sure if you're 1st or 2nd Gen, so YMMV. Anyway, like the others said I'd check the oil level first.
This is a common problem in cars with a wet sump. I then to overfill the crankcase slightly (8-10 oz) over the top mark. This problem disappeared after.
