Hi there -
Has anyone had the mud guards installed? I got both the front and rear sets put in the other day. The fronts are fine, but the rears wind up leaving like a 1/4" gap between the mud guard and the fender, and that gap looks awful
Thanks.

I actually asked my dealer about mud guards, and he said there weren't any available. Do you have pictures that you could post?

Is the gap from design or bad install? I put them on the "configurator" version of my MINI and think they look pretty good - not to mention they will probably help save the paint along the bottom of the car.

I put mud flaps on LTL YELO, front only, because with 17''x 8'' wheels, the sides of the car got pretty dirty. The back wheels are no problem, as the muck has nothing back there to hit, except the cars behind me. I purchased the flaps at Pep Boys and they fit fine. (just 3 screws). Another reason I left them off the back is that there is no way to attach them without some kind of spacers. No more muck on the car sides!
I guess I'll go out to the garage to take a picture now, in case anyone wants to take a gander.

I live in Mexico, and that's what's available here. I think it's just a problem of lack of knowledge as to how to install.

Will try to post pictures, but am basically computer illerate, so probably will not be successful.
Anyway, my car is a silk green with black roof, dark-tinted windows, black double-line pinstripe, and new-style "S" rear spoiler........a head turner everywhere we go.
