Power Steering Fan

I have just replaced the power steering pump and fan as per an old post on this site. The instructions and photo's were easy to follow. Basically i saved a bunch of money. My local dealer wanted $1,500, the parts totaled around $650 and the whole thing has taken about 5 hours at a steady pace.

I do have a question regarding the fan. I bled the pump but notice the fan is not running. Before I go for a road test and over heat the pump again, can anbody tell me if the fan only works when the pump gets hot and not at initial start up. Could it be a fuse, if so where is the fuse that controls the fan?

Thanks

power steering fan

By a process of elimination I found out it was a blown fuse. No need to reply all is working OK.

Turn on your A/C and then check to see if the pump fan starts running.

Edit: your quick posting beat me to it
