Need input on window tinting.

Am thinking about getting the windows tinted on my MINI and would sure like to hear anything you all have to offer about different brands or any words of advice that you might have.
Thanks

I've tinted my 3 MINIs and several cars before that:
Use quality tint (cheap tint will tear and make your life miserable)
Buy more than you need in case you need to practice one window (practice makes perfect)
Work in the shade and out of direct sunlight (keeps the spray from drying too quickly)
Use a sharp blade (do not use scissors!) (scissors crimp before they cut and leave an ugly edge)
Don't get in a rush
Don't even think about trying the back window without a commercial grade heat gun (the back window has curves that cannot be tinted without properly heating the tint material, takes practice and patience)

Some advice right off the top of my head.

I have mine tinted 15% and went to an installer, wanted to make sure it is right and can go back to if it develops problems.

Just got back from having mine tinted. Used a 15% tint. Had it done by a professional. He only charged me 75 bucks, as he is the same guy that put clear bra's on both our 2011 Cooper S, and our 2010 Clubman S. Makes the Spice Orange paint really stand out!

Thanks so much everyone. And seeing your picture MINIIZM and the 15% tint, has really helped. Also, seeing your sticker in the window helped me decide on ordering that too.

MINIIZM,
A quick question. What is the percentage of tint on the side door windows? I'm thinking they are not quite as tinted as the back windows. I could be mistaken. What a beauty you have.

The front door windows are not tinted. Just the stock MINI windows. Only the back two windows and the rear window were done with the 15%. Thanks for the complements.

Thanks MiniTS-05.

And to MINIIZM, I saw a spice orange the other day and thought I'd seen wrong for all the traffic buzzing by. Now I've realized I didn't and it's as pretty as I thought it was. Just yesterday I bought flowers to plant, that very same color and Chile Red flowers to match mine.

Anyone else have their windows squeak when rolling down after tint?

Any ideas on how to stop that? Never did it before tint.
